The Uncle John Bathroom books are a great series of endless trivia. If you are a trivia nut like my husband and I, you'll thoroughly enjoy this book as well as ALL of the others. Good luck finding them all however, some are more difficult to find but each book has new trivia and unbelievable, with the number of books this group as published...they NEVER repeat facts. Amazing. Also, just as the title indicates, if your guy (or you) are like my husband and spend plenty of time in the bathroom throughout the day - this book makes a fantastic read while sitting on the pot. These books are also great to place in the bathroom for company to enjoy while doing their "business".

My husband received this as a Christmas gift last year (2007). We both enjoy it quite a bit. I'll definitely buy more editions for our house. I also think this is a good gift idea for anyone who enjoys trivia or reading. A great "Get Well" gift idea as well.

Normally I buy a couple of these a year and... well... leave them in the bathroom. But I got bored in the middle of my first chosen read of the year and picked this up off the shelf. Next thing you know, I'm 200 pages in. So it made sense to go ahead and finish it. All 600 pages.

As always, Uncle John delivers top notch entertainment and information. Particularly interesting to me was one of the final extended sections on cancer. Just reading that section filled in a lot of little holes in my knowledge, which I thought was pretty robust given my recent experience with the disease.

This is probably the 5th or 6th Uncle John's bathroom reader I've owned, and it's every bit as good as the rest. The only downside to Uncle John's bathroom reader is that they only come out with a new edition once a year!

Total sales for the whole ball of wax is something like 7 million books so Uncle John & Co. must be doing something right. Pick up a copy of Edition 20, read and enjoy! Here's hoping we have another 20 years of Bathroom readers to look forward to!

A wonderful book for those who don't want to commit to reading some long novel. Plus, I learned so many new and unusual facts! Like, did you know that the word "calculus" means "pebble" in Latin? Learn that and so much more!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who can't go to the restroom without something to read.

My husband gets the latest version of the Bathroom Reader for me every Christmas, so it's impossible not to notice that they frequently repeat stories every few years. Nevertheless, it's still an entertaining read, and my husband and I enjoy pointing out our favorites to each other.

I read an older edition at my sister's house and found it hilarious and actually informative, so I bought 3 copies of the latest edition as Xmas gifts. I gave one copy to our neighbors, and when the wife saw the title, she immediately handed it to her hubby with disdain. Eventually, her curiosity got to her, and she picked it up and didn't put it down for almost 1 hour! She then left our house early so that she could go home and continue reading it with no interruption. Definitely not a waste of money. Now I just wish someone would give a copy to me!

My son-in-law loves these readers and was thrilled to get this one. If you have someone who's hard to buy for, get them this. It has tons of little known facts.

You just can't go wrong with this book! Oh the tidbits of information yet to learn....

The "Uncle John" series of bathroom readers are, without doubt, the best bathroom light-reading material I've come across so far.
